Elbe Philharmonic – Germany

In Northern Germany, we supported a project for Hamburg's Elbe Philharmonic. In Hamburg's new HafenCity (harbor district), one of the ten best concert halls in the world is taking shape. In this pro bono project, our consultants assessed the economic capacity of operations during the planning phase.

They then made recommendations for how to organize the operating company and designed a fundraising and sponsoring concept. All of these activities were conducted in cooperation with local partner companies. At our suggestion, the Elbe Philharmonic Foundation was established. Under the direction of former Roland Berger consultant Wibke Kähler-Siemssen, the foundation has so far raised a large portion of the funds needed to realize the EUR 200 million project.
